I found this old window frame and was SO excited. I spend hours sanding and scraping off paint from the windows. When I was sanding I broke the glass in one of the squares so I decided to bust all of them out. I painted it red first and didn't love it. I didn't want to sand it all down so I just painted white over it. I antiqued the edges and loved the way the red came through a little. I applied a coat of stain over the top and then my husband nailed the magnetic board behind it. We kept the old rusted handles and I love the way it turned out. Now it hangs in my daughters room with all of her little love notes from her cousins.
